RE: Resolution on Affordable Housing
At its meeting on 11/6/96, the Human Resource Network drafted a
resolution on affordable housing. The resolution will be on the
agenda for action at the next meeting which. will be held on
Wednesday, January 8, 1997.
Several members requested a copy of the text of the draft
resolution so that they could discuss the resolution with their
boards and committees. Here is the text:
The Human Resource Network of St. Croix County reviewed
housing issues during 1996. This review indicated a need
for affordable housing for reasons of economic and social
development.
Therefore, the Human Resource Network of St. Croix County
affirms its support for the development of decent, safe,
sanitary housing that is affordable to low and moderate
income persons.
On another note, I want each of you to know how much I have enjoyed
knowing you and working with you. I believe the energy/synergy at
our meetings and our collaborative projects attest to the fact that
the Human Resource Network is an important group which meets its
objective of collaborating to deliver services to the citizens of
St. Croix County. Best wishes!
