PLANNING, ZONING & PARKS COMMITTEE
DUNE 5, 1996
ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI
PRESENT: Chairperson Tom Dorsey; Supervisors Ron Raymond, Linda Luckey and George Menter.
Supervisor Bill Oemichen arrived at 7:50 p.m. Staff present included Dave Fodroczi.
Chairperson Dorsey called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m. Motion by Menter, seconded by Raymond
to adopt the agenda. Motion carried. The Committee scheduled a meeting for Wednesday, June 26, 1996
at 1:00 p.m. at the Government Center for a briefing on the Land Information Strategic Implementation
Plan by UGC Consulting. Information Services Committee to be invited.
Resolution to Authorize Submittal of Application for Land Information Grant
Fodroczi presented a resolution to authorize the Planning Department to submit a grant application to the
Wisconsin Land Information Program for activities that would implement the County Land Information
Plan. He explained that the final grant activities would depend on the outcome of the Committee's review
of work by UGC Consulting and the Land Information Project Team. However, the next grant deadline
is July 31st, and the County Board would not meet after June 18 before the deadline. Fodroczi indicated
that the Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee would review the application before submittal, and any
matching funds in the grant would have to be approved by the County Board as part of the 1997 Budget.
Motion by Raymond, seconded by Menter to approve the resolution for consideration by the County Board
on June 18, 1996. Motion carried.
Closed Session Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sec. 19.85(1)(c) to Consider Performance Evaluation
Data of the Parks Director, Planning Director and Zoning Administrator
Motion by Raymond, seconded by Luckey to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sec.
19.85(1)(c) to consider performance evaluation data of the Parks Director, Planning Director and Zoning
Administrator. Unanimous roll call vote. Motion carried. Motion by Luckey, seconded by Raymond to
come out of closed session. Motion carried. The Committee completed a performance evaluation for the
Zoning Administrator during the closed session.
Motion by Raymond, seconded by Menter to adjourn the meeting at 10:15 p.m. Motion carried.
