MINUTES
PLANNING, ZONING & PARKS COMMITTEE
SEPTEMBER 11, 1996
ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI
PRESENT: Chairperson Tom Dorsey; Supervisors Ron Raymond, Linda Luckey, George
Menter and Dave Hense. Staff in attendance included Ellen Denzer and Dave
Fodroczi.
Vice Chairperson Raymond called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. Chairperson Dorsey arrived.
Motion by Luckey, seconded by Raymond to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
Economic Development Corporation Budget
Fodroczi reviewed the 1997 budget request of $40,294 from the St. Croix Economic Development
Corporation and attached materials on the corporation's overall budget and work program.
Discussion. Motion by Raymond, seconded by Hense to approve the request of $40,294 of
County funds for the 1997 budget for the St. Croix Economic Development Corporation. Motion
carried.
Resolution on Purchase of Perch Lake Property
Denzer summarized the presentation and discussion of the Perch Lake property purchase with the
Finance Committee the previous day. She then reviewed a draft resolution to exercise options
on the Seim and Waldroff properties for the park site and access road, including a whereas clause
recognizing the finding made by the Finance Committee that the project is financially viable.
Dorsey suggested removing the references to Bass Lake in the draft resolution. Committee
members concurred. Discussion on submitting final resolution to the County Board. Motion by
Raymond, seconded by Luckey to approve the revised resolution for submittal to the County
Board. Motion carried with Menter voting "no".
Motion by Raymond, seconded by Menter to adjourn the meeting at 10:20 a.m. Motion carried.

JANUARY 16, 1997
ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI
PRESENT: Chairperson Tom Dorsey; Supervisors Ron Raymond, Linda Luckey, George Menter and
Dave Hense. Administrative Coordinator John Krizek was also in attendance.
Chairperson Dorsey called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m. Motion by Hense, seconded by Menter to
adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
Closed Session Pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sec. 19.85(1)(c) and (1) to Review the Performance
of Public Employees
Motion by Hense, seconded by Menter to go into closed session pursuant to Wisconsin Statute Sec.
19.85(1)(c) and (f) to the performance of public employees. Unanimous roll call vote. Motion carried.
Motion by Hense, seconded by Menter to come out of closed session. Motion carried.
Motion by Menter, seconded by Hense to adjourn the meeting at 2:30 p.m. Motion carried.
