Dear Tom stiles.
Community Development staff have renewed the application to install a lift for Pedestal access W the
shoreline of Bass Lake The request has been conditionally approv st based an the application submission
and the Widening findings.
• A complete application was submitted on January 2. 2020 (updated site plans protected)
The proposed I& is within the access and viewing corridor and will be an earth tone color
• The car of the lift will not exceed! 4' x 6and the design is for human transgralion, out to transport
boon or machines
• The context of construction results in minimal ground disturbance and Best Management Practices
for erosion and sediment control will be incorporated during constmction to minimize emmxn issues
along the hillside
Based on these findings, approval of the Land Use permit Is subject to the following condtbons:
1 Erwon and Sediment Control measures as per the site plan shall be installed per plan prior to any land
recommence adrviry,
2 Notify Community Development prior to beginning the project The project timeline and scope of work
will be drscusend to determine if an onsite inspection is necessary Please contact me directly to discuss

3 All standards for a lift as per Chapter 17 30 H 4 d shall be met at all times. The maximum width cannot
exceed 60", this includes the car and the (upper and lower) landings
4 The lower lift landing will be installed above the Regional Floodplam Elevation (890 00)
5. lift components shall be securely anchored to prevent from shifting and from causing erosion Area
disturbed from consruction shall be re✓egetater to maintain the Prince and prevent erosion
6 St Crow County staff reserve the right to require sediment and erosion control measures if found
necessary due to site specific concerns

8 It is the applicant's responsibility to secure any other required local, state or federal permits) and

9 Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by the
Zoning Administrator according to Chapter iZ 36.
This approval is subject to the conditions heed above, It does not allow for any additional construction,
structures, or buildings beyond the limit of this request your information will remain an file at the St
Croix County Community Development Department suite It is your responsibility to ensure compliance
with any other local, State, or federal permitting or regulations, including contacting the Town of St
Joseph to inquire if additional permissions are required This permit is valid for one year, with the
possibility of up to two (2) six-month extensions tithe came M submits the appropriate permit extension

submitted to the local Building Inspector for the town upon application for the building permit The
