The Committee will reconvene to render a decsion on the
public hearing held on April 28, 1997 on the following
petition:
Stanley Pond to rezone a 140 acre parcel of land from
Agriculture to Ag./Residential: Location: SE 1/4 of the
NW1/4 of Section 18, T28N, R19W except that part conveyed
on deed recorded in the office of Register of Deeds in
St. Croix County on Jan. 15, 1965 in vol. 1141011, page
193, Doc. #278893 and the NW1/4 of the NW1/4 and the SW1/4
of the NW1/4 and part of the SE1/4 of the NW1/4 all in
section 18, T28N, R19W; and Government lots 1 and 2 in
Section 13, T28N, R20W.

Committee present: Tom Dorsey, George Menter, David Hense, Linda Luckey, Ron Raymond
Staff present: Mary Jenkins
Chairman Dorsey called the hearing to order at 8:00 PM. The hearing notice was read into the record.
Zoning Business:
The St. Croix County Planning, Zoning & Parks Committee reconvened to render a decision on
the public hearing held on April 28, 1997, on the following petition:
Stanley Pond to rezone a 140 acre parcel of land from Agriculture to Ag Residential.
Location: SEl/4-NW'/4, Section 18, T28N-R19W, except that part conveyed on deed recorded in
the office of the Register of Deeds in St. Croix County on January 15, 1965 in Vol. 410, Pg. 193,
Document No. 278893, and the NWl/4-NWl/4, and the SWl/4-NWl/4, and part of the SE'/4-NWl/4,
all in Section 18, T28N-R19W, Govt. Lots 1 & 2, Section 13, T28N-R20W, Town of Troy, St.
Croix County, Wisconsin.
Chairman Dorsey informed those present of the rules of the hearing, and inquired as to who would explain
the rezoning request.
Stanley Pond spoke to the committee, referring to a letter from Zoning Director David Dacquisto, from
Mr. Pond's attorney, requesting that the hearing be continued at a future date. Mr. Pond said this would
allow further information to be gathered regarding the rezoning.
Chairman Dorsey informed Mr. Pond that if the hearing was continued, an additional application and
application fee would be required. Mr. Pond agreed to that condition.
On the request of the petitioner, Stanley Pond, the hearing was continued, to be rescheduled after Mr
Pond re -submits his application to the Zoning Office.
A motion was made by Hense, seconded by Raymond, to adjourn the hearing. Motion carried.
