MINUTES - August 11, 1997
MEMBERS
PRESENT: Bruce Bayer, James Craig, Keith Gregerson, Fern
Johnson, Lee Kellaher, Ray Mealey, John Mortensen,
Robert Palewicz, Marguerite Sumner, Larry
Weisenburger, Glenda Zielski

Meeting called to order at 5:30pm by Chair Ray Mealey.
Motion to approve minutes of the last meeting, second by Larry
Weisenburger. Motion carried.
Next meeting scheduled for 1:00pm, August 28 at the Human Services
Complex in New Richmond.
Motion by Lee Kellaher, second by Larry Weisenburger to recommend to
the Human Services Board that the 1998 budget include a provision to
lower the maximum time on the CiP2/COP-W waiting list from six months
to three months at an estimated county cost of $84,000. Motion carried.
Motion by Lee Kellaher, second by Bruce Bayer to reduce maximum time
on the CIP1 b waiting list from 30 months to 24 months at an estimated
cost of $84,000 per year. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn at 6:10pm by Larry Weisenburger so that committee
members may participate in meeting with U.S. Senator Russ Feingold
sponsored by the Lutheran Brotherhood Fraternal organization, second by
John Mortensen. Motion carried.
