ST C RO % NTY RESOLUTION AMENDING MAINTENANCE AND BOARD OF JAIL
INMATES FEE SCHEDULE
1 WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statute §§302.372(2) and 303.08(4) allows a county to seek
2 reimbursement of expenses from inmates as set by the county board by ordinance; and
3
4 WHEREAS, Chapter 63 -Maintenance and Board of Jail Inmates of the St. Croix
5 County Code of Ordinances and its corresponding Fee Schedule became effective on February 1,
6 2012 and amended by Resolution 19 (2016) on March 1, 2016; and
7
8 WHEREAS, Section 63.07 of the Ordinance provides that the County Board may amend
9 the Schedule from time to time; and
10
11 WHEREAS, there have been changes in vendors and available technology that result in
12 different costs; and
13
14 WHEREAS, the Public Protection and Judiciary Committee has determined that the fees
15 on the Maintenance and Board of Jail Inmates Fee Schedule should be amended as attached.

17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
18 Supervisors that the fees on the Maintenance and Board of Jail Inmates Fee Schedule be
19 amended as attached.

21 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amended Maintenance and Board of Jail
22 Inmates Fee Schedule be posted on the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office Webpage.

Fiscal Impact: Updating the Maintenance and Board of Jail inmates fee schedule will more
accurately show the costs assoicated with the medical contract, technological fees
assoicated with huber inmates and electronic monitoring.
