ST C RO % NTY TOWN OF HUDSON ORDINANCE AMENDING THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE, CHAPTER 17.72; SECTION
21, TOWN 29N, RANGE 19W, TOWN OF HUDSON, ST. CROIX
COUNTY
1 WHEREAS, Hartman Development Properties LLC owns 27.259 acres of land located
2 at 595 Hermes Road (Parcel ID#: 020-1054-70-110) in the Town of Hudson that is zoned
3 Commercial; and

5 WHEREAS, the subject parcel is legally described as follows:

7 Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 21, Township 29 North, Range
8 19 West, Town of Hudson, St. Croix County, Wisconsin; described as follows: Lot 2 of that
9 Certified Survey Map recorded in Volume 26 of said maps, on Page 5936, as Document No.
10 981663

12 WHEREAS, the owner has petitioned the Town of Hudson to rezone subject parcel from
13 Commercial to Commercial/Light Industrial; and
14
15 WHEREAS, the Town Board for the Town of Hudson met on December 3, 2019 and,
16 following due advertisement announcing the public hearing by law, conducted a public hearing
17 on the petition to rezone the subject parcel from Commercial to Commercial/Light Industrial;
18 and
19
20 WHEREAS, the Town of Hudson Town Board approved the rezoning request at their
21 December 3, 2019 Town Board meeting; and
22
23 WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes states that in counties having a county
24 zoning ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the
25 county board; and

27 WHEREAS, St. Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
28
29 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
30 amendment and recommends approval.

32 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
33 Supervisors that the amendment to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described above is
34 hereby approved.
