1. Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) e. to deliberate and review collective bargaining
strategies prior to exchanging initial proposals with WPPA bargaining unit. Reconvene
into open session.
2. Exchange of initial bargaining proposals with WPPA bargaining units.

Ad Hoc Negotiations Committee
DATE AND TIME: Monday, October 25, 2010 — 9:30 A.M.
LOCATION: Government Center, Room 1281
1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin
CALL TO ORDER — The meeting was called to order by Chair Standafer at 9:35 a.m.
ROLL CALL — Members present: Daryl Standafer, Steve Hermsen, Roger Larson
Others Present: Administrative Coordinator Chuck Whiting, Human Resources Administrator Tammy Funk, Sheriff
Dennis Hillstead, Finance Accountant Mike Wanschura, Gary Graveson and Joe Durkin of the Wisconsin
Professional Police Association, Dean Fayerweather, Yvonne Johnson, Brandie Hart, and Jessica Zupfer of the
WPPA union.
ADOPTION OF AGENDA — Motion by Larson, 2 nd by Hermsen to adopt the agenda as presented. Carried
unanimously.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING: The next meeting of the Committee was not set.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: September 16, 2010 — Action on the minutes of
September 16, 2010 were deferred to the next meeting.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1. Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) e. to deliberate and review collective bargaining
strategies prior to exchanging initial proposals with WPPA bargaining unit. Reconvene into
open session. Motion by Hermsen, 2 nd by Larson to go into closed session. Carried unanimously.
The Committee went into closed session at 9:37 a.m.
Motion by Hermsen, 2 nd by Larson to reconvene into open session. Carried unanimously. The
Committee reconvened into open session at 10:29 a.m.
2. Exchange of initial bargaining proposals with WPPA bargaining units. The WPPA
representatives joined the Committee and exchanged initial bargaining proposals. Discussion on
items and dates for further negotiations. Dates were agreed to as November 16, 29 and December
2.
ADJOURN
There being no further business to come before the Committee, the meeting was adjourned at 12:10 p.m.
