ST C RQ ORDINANCE TO ADOPT FARMLAND PRESERVATION PLAN AREA
MAP AMENDMENTS TO THE ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
1 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has appointed the Community Development
2 Committee as the County Planning and Zoning Agency, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §59.69
3 (2); and

5 WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §59.69(2) and (3) St. Croix County is
6 authorized to prepare or amend a comprehensive plan as defined in Wisconsin Statutes
7 §66.1001(1)(a); and

9 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors formally adopted the document
10 entitled, ST. CROIX COUNTY - 2012 - 2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, November 5, 2012;
11 and

13 WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed
14 Farmland Preservation Area Map amendments and by a majority vote of the entire committee
15 recorded in its official minutes, recommends approval of the map amendments to the document
16 entitled ST. CROIX COUNTY- 2012 - 2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN containing all the
17 elements specified in Wisconsin Statutes §66.1001(2); and
18
19 WHEREAS, the Committee has held a public hearing on this ordinance, in compliance
20 with the requirements of Wisconsin Statutes §66.1001(4)(d).

22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Board of Supervisors of the
23 County of St. Croix does ordain as follows: the attached map amendments to the ST. CROIX
24 COUNTY 2012-2035 COMPREHENSIVE PLAN are adopted.

26 This Ordinance shall be effective upon its adoption and publication as required by law.
