�T NTY RESOLUTION INITIATING COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR SEARCH
1 WHEREAS, St. Croix County Administrator, Patrick Thompson, submitted his letter of
2 resignation and retirement effective August 18, 2020; and

4 WHEREAS, on July 28, 2020 the St. Croix County Administration Committee met and
5 recommended the hiring of a governmental executive search firm to assist St. Croix County in
6 the selection of a successor County Administrator; and
7
8 WHEREAS, the Administration Committee authorized the development of a request for
9 proposal (RFP) for the hiring of a governmental executive search firm.

11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Administration
12 Committee is hereby authorized to contract with a governmental executive search firm to assist
13 in hiring a successor St. Croix County Administrator.

15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Administration Committee is
16 delegated with the task of overseeing the process of conducting a search for a successor St. Croix
17 County Administrator with the support of the selected governmental executive search firm and
18 with the support of the St. Croix County Human Resources Department.
