On October 14, 2020, Community Development Department staff reviewed and condi0onally
approved your sign permit application for one O Free -Standing sign and three (3) Building Signs
Approval of SP-2020-002 is subject to the following conditions
1 Sign and sign components, and elements of faces of signs shall not flash, move, travel, or use
animation or change in intensity of amficial light
2 Double faced signs shall be placed back -to- back (paralle0 with not more than 18 inches between
facings.
3 The illuminated portion of the sign requires an electrical power cutoff switch on the outside of
the sign
4 The County may specify the hours a sign may be illuminated and limit Its brightness while
Illuminated The hours of Illumination or brightness limitations may be established at any time,
Including during the life of the sign
5 Signs shall be set back at least 10 feet from any right-of-way
6 The signs display surface shall be properly coated or covered, attached and maintained
]. The applicant shall be responsible to secure any other required local, state or federal permits)
and approval(s) prior to erecting the signs
8 Any amendment or change in the proposed sign shall require prior review by the Zoning
Administrator for compliance with Chapter 15 380, a new permit may be required
9 Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit
by the Zoning Administrator according to Chapter 15 3804 f
Please find this request for one(1)on-premise sign in aC-3 zoning district conditionally approved
based on the findings below as per Chapter 15 380 3 b4
One sign per road or highway frontage
Maximum area of any such sign shall be 80 square feet per sign
Any such sign shall not exceed 120 square feet in aggregate

Please find this request for three (3) Building Signs on a bmldmg used for commercial purposes is
allowed subject to the following additional standards as per Chapter 15 380 3 b 5
Any number of signs may be installed on a building wall or window
The total area of all building signs on any face shall not exceed 10 percent of the area
of the fesade, including wall and window, with a maximum allowable sign area of 80
square feet per face and 240 square feet in total
Location
Building signs may he placed can not more than three walls/windows of
rectangular shaped structures or not more than 75%of Me major
wallsbrindowe on non -rectangular shaped structures.
Signs may be attached flat against or pinned away from a building
wall/window, but the ago face shall not extend or protrude more
than 6 inches from the wall/window.
Signs may be attached to the facade of a building, but shall not extend above
the roof line
• Signs may be perpendicular to a building wall, but the sign face shall not
project more than 18 inches from the wall
This approval is subject to the conditions listed above, It does not allow for any additional signs,
sign components and elements of signs beyond the limits of this request. Your information will
remain on file with the St Croix County Community Development Department It is your
responsibility to ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permimng or regulations,
Including contacting the Town of Richmond and Wisconsin Department of Transportation, Outdoor
Advertising, to inquire if additional permissions are required
This permit is valid for one year, with the possibility of up to two (2) six-month extensions if the
applicant submits the appropriate permit extension fee and documentation to the Zoning
