a) Closed session per Wisconsin Statute 19.85 (1) c for the purpose of annual
performance review of the Planning and Zoning Director. Reconvene into open
session to complete any remaining agenda items.

MINUTES
PLANNING AND ZONING COMMITTEE
APRIL 13, 2010
CALL TO ORDER: Chair Ruetz called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
PRESENT: Supervisors Gene Ruetz, Sharon Norton - Bauman, Lorin Sather, Peter Post, Steve
Hermsen.
STAFF PRESENT: Dave Fodroczi, Monica Lucht, Chuck Whiting.
GUESTS: None
ADOPTION OF AGENDA: Motion by Sather, 2nd by Post to adopt the agenda. Motion
Carried.
CONSENT AGENDA: Motion by Post, 2 by Sather to adopt the consent agenda approving
the minutes of March 9, 2010, approving the March bill and revenue reports, and tentatively
setting the date of the next meeting for May 2010, time and place to be determined when the
newly elected Community Development Committee is seated. Motion carried.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS
Land Use Ordinance Applications
Municipal Plats: None
Rezones to be scheduled: One application was received for the Town of Baldwin. The Committee
tentatively scheduled the public hearing for May 26, 2010 at 7:00 pm in Baldwin.
Waivers to be scheduled: None
Discussion of plats and CSMs: Fodroczi reviewed the list of March and April submittals. Three
CSM applications were received in April.
Planning and Zoning Business
Closed Session: Motion by Sather, 2nd by Post to go into closed session per Wis. Stats §
19.85(1) (c) for the purpose of the annual performance review of the Planning and Zoning
Director at 8:39 a.m. Roll call vote: All were in favor. Administrative Coordinator Whiting and
Supervisor Julie Speer present. Motion by Norton - Bauman, 2nd by Sather, to come out of closed
session at 11:58 a.m. Motion carried.
ANNOUNCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE
Fodroczi invited the Committee to attend a series of Farmland Preservation workshops to be held
throughout the month of May 2010. An invitation was distributed to all local officials with Pete
Kling working on a large bulk mailing to Ag producers and landowners. This first series of
workshops is set up to get the planning started with public involvement.
Committee members thanked Supervisor Post for his service on the County Board and the
Planning & Zoning Committee.
Chair Ruetz adjourned the meeting at 12:00 p.m.
