ROLL CALL Gail Colligan (YSB), Richard Marzolf (County Board), Linda Luckey (County
Board),Pete Van Duartz (Hudson Hospital), Doug Briggs (Somerset PD), Steve Kirt (St Croix County
Behavioral Health , Norma Vreize, Birth to 3, Esther Wentz (County Board); Amber Marko, YSB,
Officer John Shilts, Kris Miner, SCVRJP, Joan Sprain, (UWEX).
Guests: Sheryl Schmit, Community member, Cass Cousins, Special Prosecutor
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: May 26, 2010 Minutes were approved
with a spelling correction to Dana's name.

OLD AND NEW BUSINESS
I. PowerPoint Presentation— Steve Kirt shared the information from the Parents Who Host Lose the
Most Town meeting. Discussion followed
2. Juvenile Drug Treatment Court Update: Steve reported that 4 are currently enrolled. It is growing
and going well. The focus is on the positive as well as negative behavior. Should be called
Juvenile Treatment Court. Participants must be adjudicated.
3. Reports
a. Drug Court Report- Still using the Matrix program. No pending graduations. Very high
success rate but not satisfied.
b. Open Door Rescue Mission - Tom Hennes Joan Sprain reported they are close to obtaining a
house.
c. MADAM -No report
d. Update on SCVRJP projects — Kris Miner- 3 Pierce Co., parents from St. Croix & 3
community members and facilitator are participating in Circle of Understanding (series of 8
weeks) There has been a reduction of underage tickets but may change with community
celebrations. So their work may increase. Walk on July 31. Survivor circles —There have
been 6 -8 suicides in both counties. Talking circles allow people to tell their story. Next one
is around sexual assault.
e. Other reports- Doug Briggs reported they are completing application to continue the Youth
Service Bureaus' program that Gail Colligan implements in St. Croix Co. They do not
anticipate any problems.
Pete Van Duartz will be doing a presentation to Hudson Rotary in July.
4. Alcohol and Drug Information Update — Esther shared information about K2- Spice. Steve said
can be purchased downtown Hudson. Amber Marko passed around a sample. It is legal to possess
