July 1, 1997
Meeting called to order at 9:00 A.M. by Chairman Daryl Standafer.
Members Present: Kellaher, Luckey, O'Connell and Standafer.
Filipiak absent.
Others Present•
Adoption of Agenda: Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Kellaher to adopt
the agenda. Carried.
Adoption of Minutes: Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Kellaher to adopt
the June 3, 1997 minutes. Carried.
Next Meeting Date: Tuesday, August 5, 1997
Rules and By -Laws: Chair Standafer would like the committee
members to go through and make any changes and notes on anything
within the Rules and By -Laws that needs to be corrected, added to
or deleted. A draft of changes and recommendations will then be
presented to the County Board of Supervisors.
Legislative Issues: The State Legislature passed the resolution in
support of naming a U.S. submarine the "Manitowoc".
Chair Standafer talked withSheila Harsdorf and she stated
that passing of the budget at the Senate level is a real problem at
the present time. The State Assembly cannot do anything until the
Senate passes it.
Legislative matters and meetings with the legislators should be
channeled through the Administration Committee. Chair Standafer
will check into procedure.
Board of Ad-iustment/Citizen Member: Public Hearing is set for July
8, 1997 at New Richmond WITC. Purpose of the hearing is for towns
to share their views and citizen input as to who should make up the
Board of Adjustments. Administration Committee and Board of
Adjustments Chairman, Supervisor Bradley will be there to, listen
and answer any questions.
Gerald Peterson and Linda Luckey have been appointed to the Loan
Advisory Committee to carry out the administration of the revolving
loan fund.
Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Kellaher to adjourn at 9:30 A.M.
