Consider Agenda Items for October Legislative Breakfast ANNOUCEMENTS & CORRESPONDENCE POSSIBLE AGENDA ITEMS FOR NEXT MEETING: ADJOURNMENT (Agenda not necessarily presented in this order) SUBMITTED BY: Daryl Standafer DATE: 8/26/97 COPIES TO: County Board Office County Clerk News Media/Notice Board Committee Members John Krizek, Robert Boche, Greg Timmerman and Lorin Sather *ADDITIONS/CHANGES/CORRECTIONS 2 ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE September 2, 1997 Meeting called to order at 9:05 A.M. by Chairman Daryl Standafer. Members Present: Tim Filipiak, Linda Luckey, Tom O'Connell and Daryl Standafer. Absent, Lee Kellaher. Adoption of Agenda: Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Filipiak to adopt the agenda as published. Carried. Adoption of Minutes: Motion by Luckey, 2nd by Filipiak to adopt the August 5, 1997 minutes as corrected. Carried. Next Meeting Date: Tentatively set for October 7, 1997 - possible Legislative Breakfast Rules and By -Laws: The committee went through the corrections made to the First Draft changes from the August 5th meeting. Additional corrections follow: Motion by Filipiak, 2nd by O'Connell and carried to add on Page 7 - a #7. St. Croix County Economic Development Corporation - 3 supervisors - Parent Committee being Planning, Zoning and Parks. Page 9 - #7 end of 2nd paragraph - one year preservation of tapes is being questioned - no action taken until a definite time span is determined. Moved by Standafer, 2nd by Filipiak and carried to add on Page 20 - under Resource and Education Committee, end of paragraph - ; administration of the County's responsibilities under the Recycling Law, and education and assistance regarding public information regulating collection and disposal of wastes. Legislative Issues: The committee went through the thirty six WCA Resolutions that will be presented to the legislators at the Wisconsin Counties Convention later this month. A summary of all the resolutions was completed and given to County Board Chair Boche to take to the convention. Supervisor O'Connell was excused at 10:15 A.M. Legislative Breakfast Topics: Chair Standafer would like to have fewer, more in depth topics of discussion ready for the legislators. Motion to adjourn at 10:45 A.M.
