Present: Vern Dull, Leon Berenschot, Ronald Raymond, Art Jensen, Chris Bethke,
Lee Milligan, Jim Janke, and Mike Perkl, UWEX Western District Director
The meeting was called to order at 12:30 p.m.
Date of next meeting was set for March 4, 1997 at 12:30 p.m.
Jensen moved that the Agenda be adopted as presented. Bethke seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Jensen moved that the previous meeting's minutes be approved. Bethke seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Berenschot moved that the vouchers be approved. Bethke seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Administrative Report
1996 Budget Line Item Transfers:
Jensen moved to transfer $46 from line item 311-401 to line item 324-000. Bethke second.
Motion carried.
Bethke moved to transfer $20 from line item 311-401 to line item 335-400. Jensen sec_ and
Motion carried..
Raymond moved to transfer $131 from line item 311-401 to line item 157-401. Jensen second.
Motion carried.
Berenschot moved to transfer $245 from line item 311-403 to line item 319-401. Bethke second.
Motion carried.
Raymond moved to transfer $290 from line item 341-403 to line item 339-400. Berenschot
second. Motion carried.
Bethke moved to transfer $300 from line item 341-403 to line item 319-000. Jensen second.

Ag Center Proposal: Berenschot moved to accept and support the Ag Center Building Bid Proposal
from W. Peters which enables the S Ag Agencies to co -locate in Baldwin. Bethke second. Roll Call

District WACEC Annual Meeting: District 8 WACEC Annual Meeting Agenda was discussed. It will
be held March 13, 1997 in Menomonie. Registrations will be distributed at the March Ag/Extension
Education Committee Meeting,
Office Chair Contract: The Office Chair Contract identifying Reaman as Office Chair was signed and
returned to M. Perkl.
Universit<� of �'Visconsin-Lxtersion Repoi�: UWEX Western District Director, Mike Perkl, reported
on the resignation of UWEX Chancellor Donald Hanna and the state-wide Satellite Conference, April
7, 9.10 am to introduce the interim Chancellor, the Governor's Budget and the Legislative Audit
Bureau's report. Encouraged Ag/Extension Committee Members to participate and to invite the County
Board Chair to view the satellite conference.
Agent Performance Review• Closed Session - 19 85 (1) C: The Committee went into closed session
for the Agent Performance Reviews with Perkl.
Berenscot moved to adjourn. Jensen seconded the motion. Motion carried.
