Lestrud discussed several activities which took place during the summer months. The Master Food

The volunteers are now knowledgeable about food safety and food preservation and can answer
phone questions from the public as well as present programs.
4-11 clothing camp was agrant-supported effort which included 34 youth and 18 adult helpers at a
one -day workshop teaching boys and girls how to sew. This event improved participation in the 4-H
Clothing Project.
