CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at
9 10 a.m. by Acting Chairman, Herb Giese,
ROLL CALL: Members present were Larry
Weisenburger, Herb Giese, Phil Hammer, Jerome
Neumann, Delores Loock, Lee Kellaher, and Andy
Germain. Clarence Malick was absent. Mary Lou
Smith, Myrtle Munns, and Roberta Moe were excused.
Also present were Cindy Icard, Sandy Gehrmann, Barb
Blaisdell, Jonna Fedie, Elma Liberty, Carol Gorke, Janice
Thompson, Donna Zacharias, Sherry Crosby, Sue
Kramer, and Peggy Patterson.
AGENDA: A motion was made by
Larry Weisenburger and seconded by Andy Germain to
adopt the agenda;
motion carried.
ACTION ON PREVIOUS [TES: A motion was
made by Phil Hammer and seconded by Delores Loock to
accept minutes as printed; motion carried.

Legislative UDd�at_e: A letter was received from
Fernando Gil -Torres, Director of Administration on
Aging in Washington. It looks like the Older Americans
Act will be reauthorized, butts form has not been
decided. USDA reimbursement will be cut to 58 cents
per meal.
NEW BUSINESS.
85.21 Grant: Exhibits of A, B, and C were distributed
and discussed. A motion was made by Lee Kellaher and
seconded by Jerry Neumann to approve Exhibits A B
and C and present them at

• The Vehicle Trust
Account was discussed. Baldwin will be the first van to
be replaced, second will be the Somerset van.
Specifications were read. The Vehicle Trust is short
$14, 910 if purchase is done for 2 vans. Nutrition Trust
Account was discussed. Most kitchen equipment is 18
years old. The Nutrition Trust is $8,000 short for all the
capital equipment that may be needed in the next 5 years.
A motion was made by Lee Kellaher and seconded by
Jerry Neumann to put any carryover funds generated by
the grants into the appropriate trust accounts; motion
carried. A motion was made by Andy Germain and
seconded by Larry Weisenburger to approve the Trust
Account Plans for the Transportation and Nutrition
Programs; motion carried.
Copier Purchase: The Department on Aging received
bids for a new copier. After review of the bids, a motion
was made by Larry Weisenburger and seconded by Andy
Germain to approve the purchase of a Lenier copier for
$5,196 and that the purchase be taken from the Nutrition
Trust Account; motion carried.
Staff Reports
Influenza Clinics were discussed and dates distributed.
Congregate dining site article from news paper was read.
"Lunch Express" gives sites flexible times and menus.
The Operations committee will discuss this in future.
Option of Best Foods preparing meals for the New
Richmond and Somerset Nutrition Sites was discussed.
Sue Kramer did presentation on Medicare.
The Aging and Handicapped Transportation, Inc . contract
was signed.
A motion was made by Delores Loock and seconded by
Andy Germain to approve trips as follows : Woodville,
Tall Leaf Trip, Fanny Hill, and Train Trip; Baldwin,
Chippewa Falls; Deer Park, New Richmond, and
Somerset, Leaf Trip; Glenwood City, Augusta; motion
carried.
Larry Weisenburger reported on the CWAG meeting.

DEER PARK: Had 2 evening in in September.
GLENWOOD CITY: Made $80.00 at Rustic Lore Days
selling popcorn. Had Birthday Party for a participant,
ill be made and sold in October. Pumpkin Pies again w
EALDVTi: Made $65.00 at the August dance and
$148.00 at Dutch Days. On November 1st a Masquerade
Dance party is scheduled from 2:00-5:00.
EUDSON: A representative from the County Library did
a presentation.
NEW RICHMOND: Made $150.00 on the 25 cent sale.
SOMERSET. Some play cards every morning. A
picnic will be next Wednesday. Next Card Shark Center p
Wednesday will be October 4th at 9:30.
WOODVILLE: No representative present at this time.
A motion was made by Andy Germain and seconded by
Larry Weisenburger to adjourn meeting at 110.50 a.m.;
motion carried .
