PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE
OCTOBER 17, 1995
ST. CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER, HUDSON, WI
PRESENT: Chairperson Tom Dorsey; Supervisors Ron Raymond and George Menter. Staff present
included Dave Fodroczi and Tom Nelson,
ABSENT: Supervisors Linda Luckey and Bill Oemichen, excused.
Chairperson Dorsey called the meeting to order at 8:50 a.m. Motion by Raymond, seconded Menter to
adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
"Land Records Day" Resolution
Fodroczi presented the resolution and explained that the idea was initiated by the Wisconsin Land
Information Association (WLIA) to promote awareness of state and local land information activities. He
noted that Governor Thompson had signed a statewide proclamation, and the WLIA was asking counties
to make similar proclamations locally. Menter expressed some concerns about partisan language in the
resolution. Motion by Raymond, seconded by Dorsey to recommend the resolution and proclamation to
County Board. Motion carried 2 to 1 with Menter opposed.
Chairperson Dorsey adjourned the meeting at 8:55 a.m.
