PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING
Date: November 21, 1995 Location: Government Center, Hudson
The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 8:15
a.m. by Chairman John Bradley. Members present: Bradley, William
Krueger, Karen Bailey, Len Nyland, Dick King. Also present: John
Krizek. Moved (Krueger, Bailey) and approved to adopt the agenda
as presented. Moved (King, Nyland) and approved to adopt the
minutes of the last Personnel Committee meeting.
The Personnel Committee reviewed a job point form from the
Evaluation Team which quantified the reclassification request from
the Highway Committee for the position of Account Clerk II to
Administrative Assistant. Evaluation Team consensus placed the
position at 151 points with the following factors:
Cl2 100 C2 (22) 22 C1R 29 151
This was an increase from the Account Clerk classification at
144 points. Raising these points from 144 to 151 would result in
a movement from Pay Grade 2 to Pay Grade 3. Motion (Bailey,
Krueger) to accept the point value as determined by the Evaluation
Team for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Highway
Department and authorize the incumbent to move from Pay Grade 2 to
Pay Grade 3 effective with the new budget in 1996. Roll call vote:
all ayes motion carried. The Personnel Committee encouraged board
members to familiarize themselves with the evaluation process and
the point value system that is used for our non -represented
employees.
The Committee adjourned at 830 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Len Nyland, Secretary
