SUBMITTED BY: Debra Kathan Personnel Director DATE: November 14, 1995 COPIES TO: County Board Office, County Clerk, News Media, Notice Board, Committee Members PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING Date: November 21, 1995 Location: Government Center, Hudson The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 8:15 a.m. by Chairman John Bradley. Members present: Bradley, William Krueger, Karen Bailey, Len Nyland, Dick King. Also present: John Krizek. Moved (Krueger, Bailey) and approved to adopt the agenda as presented. Moved (King, Nyland) and approved to adopt the minutes of the last Personnel Committee meeting. The Personnel Committee reviewed a job point form from the Evaluation Team which quantified the reclassification request from the Highway Committee for the position of Account Clerk II to Administrative Assistant. Evaluation Team consensus placed the position at 151 points with the following factors: Cl2 100 C2 (22) 22 C1R 29 151 This was an increase from the Account Clerk classification at 144 points. Raising these points from 144 to 151 would result in a movement from Pay Grade 2 to Pay Grade 3. Motion (Bailey, Krueger) to accept the point value as determined by the Evaluation Team for the position of Administrative Assistant in the Highway Department and authorize the incumbent to move from Pay Grade 2 to Pay Grade 3 effective with the new budget in 1996. Roll call vote: all ayes motion carried. The Personnel Committee encouraged board members to familiarize themselves with the evaluation process and the point value system that is used for our non -represented employees.
