HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2009 (784) E ORDINANCE CREATING REVISED SUPERVISORY DISTRICT BOUNDARIES BASED ON ELECTORS' PETITION AND REFERENDUM Ordinance No. 7 `a q 0-co St. Croix County, Wisconsin The Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin does ordain as follows: Chapter 9 - Revised Supervisory District Boundaries - of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances is created as follows: 9.1 Purpose. On November 4, 2008 the electors of St. Croix County voted in a referendum to reduce the number of County Board supervisors from 31 to 19. As a result of the referendum, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §59.10(3)(cm)2., the County Board must enact an ordinance creating supervisory districts in accordance with the referendum. The new supervisory districts are effective for the April, 2010 election. 9.2 Districts.
