ST. RO LINTY RESOLUTION APPROVING COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR WORK PLAN
AND WORK PLAN REPORT
1 WHEREAS,the St. Croix County Board has provided guidance to the County
2 Administrator by establishing an annual work plan for the period September 1, 2020 - August 31,
3 2021; and
4
5 WHEREAS, the County Administrator has prepared a report highlighting the completion
6 of said work plan; and
7
8 WHEREAS,the St. Croix County Board Chair and the Administration Committee Chair
9 have met with the County Administrator to review the work plan report and recommend work
10 plan goals for next year; and
11
12 WHEREAS,the Administration Committee has reviewed and recommended work plan
13 for the County Administrator for next year; and
14
15 WHEREAS,the St. Croix County Board wishes to provide direction to the County
16 Administrator by establishing a work plan for the period September 1, 2021 - August 31, 2022.

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of
19 Supervisors does hereby certify the County Administrator has fully met expectations and
20 approved the County Administrator Work Plan Report for the period of September 1, 2020 -
21 August 31, 2021.

23 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does
24 hereby establish the following work plan for the County Administrator for the period of
25 September 1, 2021 - August 31, 2022:

27 1. Strategic Planning: Work with Department Heads to create departmental work plans.
28 2. Broadband: Implement study findings.
29 3. Facilities: Guide Government Center building project through the review process to the
30 level of County Board support.
31 4. Employees: Create plan to improve hiring effectiveness for entry level and seasonal
32 employees along with improved employee advancement opportunities.

Legal Note:
Fiscal Impact: Adoption of the work plan provides guidance but does not authorizing financial
approval.Any financial impact would be adopted during the budget process.
