COUNTY AND GREGORY D. AILTS, WAYNE G. AILTS AND ANN M.

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County owns 109 acres which the Highway Department plans to
use as a gravel pit, which is located in Sections 10 & 11, T31N, R17W, Town of Stanton; and
WHEREAS, adjacent land owner, the Ailts, approached the Highway Department to
discuss the possibility of an exchange of land; and
WHEREAS, said land exchanged would consist of that part of the former Chicago and
North Western Railroad lying within the NE '/ of the SW '/ and the SE '/ of the SW '/ of
Section 11, T31N, R17W, Town of Stanton, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, which is presently
owned by St. Croix County, in exchange for the North 100 feet of the NE % of the SW '/ of
Section 11, T31N, R17W, Town of Stanton, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, which is presently
owned by the Ailts; and
WHEREAS, said exchange of land would benefit both parties by relocating the pit
property access road to a more centrally located, less intrusive location; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors approves the above described exchange of land between St. Croix County and
Gregory D. Ailts, Wayne G. Ailts and Ann M. Niederhauser.
