ZONING ORDINANCE — PLAN COMMISSION AND BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
COMPENSATION

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, On March 2, 2010 the Town of Hudson enacted the following zoning ordinance
amendments:
Zoning Chapter 105 Throughout thy; chapter amend as follows:
Delete all references to "Planning and Zoning Committee" and replace with references to
"Plan Commission" and delete all references to "committee" and replace with references
to "commission "; and
Zoning Chapter 105 -32A Board of Adjustment amend as follows:
A. Membership. A Board of Adjustment is hereby established. The Board of Adjustment
shall consist of five members appointed by the Town Chairperson, subject to
confirmation by the Town Board, for three years, except that of those first appointed, one
shall serve for one year, two for two years and two for three years. The members shall
serve wither compensation as set by the Town Board shall all reside within the Town of
Hudson, and shall be removable by the Town Chairperson for cause and upon written
charges and after public hearing.....
WHEREAS, Section 60.62(3), Wisconsin Statutes states that in counties having a county zoning
ordinance no town zoning ordinance amendment is effective unless approved by the county
board; and
WHEREAS, St Croix County has a zoning ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Committee has reviewed the proposed amendment
and recommends approval.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the amendment
to the Town of Hudson Zoning Ordinance described above is hereby approved.
