TO HOLD COUNTY BOARD MEETINGS ON THE THIRD TUESDAY
OF THE MONTH AND MOVING THE AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER, 2010
MEETINGS TO THE FIRST TUESDAY OF THE MONTH

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Article V111, Section A. 1. of the County Board Rules and Bylaws, Regular
Meeting Dates and Times reads "The County Board shall hold its regular meetings at the St.
Croix County Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road, Hudson, Wisconsin, the third
Tuesday of each month, except no regular meeting is scheduled for February or July. The
meetings shall begin at 9.00 a.m., except that the meeting in May and June shall begin at 7:00
p.m. If necessary, meeting dates and times may be changed by the County Board Chair "; and
WHEREAS, approprif to review of legal, financial and personnel impact of matters coming
before the Contact Committees and the County Board is desirable; and
WHEREAS, Article 'VIII, Section D. of the Rules and Bylaws provides "All resolutions,
reports and other documents relating to business to come before the County Board for action
shall be submitted to and mailed by the County Clerk to all supervisors not less than 5 days prior
to each meeting of the County Board. "; and
WHEREAS, adjustments to the mailing deadline are necessary in order to provide complete
information to the County Board;
WHEREAS, based on action by the Committee of the Whole, the Administration Committee
recommends suspending the bylaws for the months of August and September and moving the
County Board meeting to the first Tuesday of those months, making all documents due in the
County Clerk's office six days before the meeting and maintaining the five -day mailing deadline
in addition to sending documents via email.

THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that in August
and September, 2010, the County Board shall meet the first Tuesday of the month.
FURTHER, be it resolved that all matters to come before the County Board shall have had
legal, financial and personnel review and are due in the County Clerk's office six days before the
meeting, and the five -day mailing deadline of materials to supervisors is maintained in addition
to sending documents via email.
