WHEREAS, on October 5, 2010, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors adopted a "soft freeze"
resolution requiring any position in which a vacancy occurs to be reviewed by the parent committee, the
Administration Committee and the County Board prior to refilling; and
WHEREAS, the Health and Human Services Committee is the parent committee for the positions of
Certified Nursing Assistants in the Health and Human Services Department and has determined that three
vacant part-time positions should be filled; and
WHEREAS, the Health and Human Services Committee has reviewed the positions and determined the
positions are necessary and there are no viable alternatives to refilling the positions, and therefore
recommends that the vacant positions be filled; and
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee has reviewed the 3 part-time positions and agrees with the
conclusions of the Health and Human Services Committee and recommends the positions be refilled; and
WHEREAS, the County Board has reviewed the positions and agrees with the conclusions of the Health
and Human Services Committee and the Administration Committee and determined that the positions
should be refilled.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the position of Certified
Nursing Assistants in the Health and Human Services Department be refilled.

Fringe Benefits
Employee will not be entitled to Wisconsin Retirement, dental insurance, life insurance, or health
insurance. Employee will not be paid for holidays.
Termination
This agreement may be terminated as follows:
• This agreement may be terminated by either party at any time with or without cause upon
thirty (30) days written notice given to the other party.
• Additionally, St. Croix County may terminate this agreement for cause immediately and
without prior notice.
Confidential Information; Ownership of Work Product
All data, records and other documents pertaining to County business are, and shall remain, the
exclusive property of the County. Employee agrees that she will not divulge or disclose any such
confidential information to any other person, firm, organization or corporation except in
accordance with the law.

The County shall pay for the following memberships, licensing, registration and training fees:

Conduct within Scope of Employment
St. Croix County agrees to pay damages and costs against Patricia Schachtner to the extent and
under the circumstances described in Section 895.46, Wisconsin Statutes.
