ST. RO LINTY RESOLUTION AMENDING RULES AND BYLAWS TO ALLOW FOR
REMOTE ATTENDANCE
1 WHEREAS, it is one of the Administration Committee's responsibilities to recommend
2 changes to the Rules and Bylaws to the County Board; and

4 WHEREAS,the Administration Committee has reviewed and recommends an
5 amendment be made to the Rules and Bylaws.

7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED,by the St. Croix County Board of
8 Supervisors that the following amendment to the Rules and Bylaws of the Board of Supervisors
9 of St. Croix County, Wisconsin are hereby adopted.

11 Article Three: Meetings of the County Board
12 Section A. Meeting Place, Dates and Times
13 7. Virtual Attendance. Upon prior approval by the County Board Chair, a Supervisor may be
14 permitted to attend a Board meeting remotely and thereby exercise any responsibilities,
15 authority, or duties, subject to available technology and all other applicable laws and rules. With
16 the exception of unforeseen circumstances, approval shall be requested reasonably in advance of
17 the meeting. This provision may be exercised by each Supervisor no more than twice per term
18 year. Supervisors are encouraged to always attend meetings in person. Virtual attendance is
19 additionally permitted for the County Board Supervisors, all Committee, Commission and Board
20 members from January 1, 2022 until June 30, 2022.
