CROIX COUNTY LAND USE ORDINANCE REZONING LAND FROM AGRICULTURE TO AG- RESIDENTIAL ORDINANCE NO. - lie (ZOO( WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provide for a Planning and Development Committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning and zoning; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board has established the St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Committee; and WHEREAS, at the request of the County Board this Committee is to review petitions, hold public hearings, and present its recommendations for rezoning requests to the County Board for action; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Committee held a public hearing on the rezoning request of WILLIS D. SAVAGE on January 5, 2006 in the St. Croix County Government Center in Hudson, Wisconsin; and WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Planning and Zoning Committee having considered all written information and verbal testimony presented at the hearing, and finding that the request meets the requirements of Wis. Statute 91.77, voted to approve a rezoning of the following described land: The NW 1 /a of the SW 1 /a of Section 15, T- 31N -R17W, Town of Stanton. Parcel contains 1.48 +/- acres. (See attached) Based on the following findings: 1. The proposed use can comply with standards in the Land Use, Subdivision and Sanitary ordinances. 2. The parcel is in the rural planning area and is an appropriate use. 3. The proposed use is consistent with minimum lot size requirements in the rural planning area. 4. The request is consistent with the surrounding neighborhood, countryside or terrain. 5. The proposed use has minimal potential to adversely impact stormwater management. The proposed use has minimal potential to adversely impact water resources with sedimentation resulting from erosion. 6. The proposed use has minimal potential to adversely impact shoreland areas or wetlands and closed depressions located in shoreland areas. 7. The proposed use is generally consistent or not in conflict with the St. Croix County Natural Resources Management Plan. 8. The Town of Somerset has reviewed the rezoning and recommends approval after considering §91.77 in making their recommendation. STATE OF WISCONSIN COUNTY OF ST.
