BYLAWS REGARDING STANDING
RESOLUTION NO. C ,
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors Rules and Bylaws Article V, Section C. I., reads:
"When any supervisor wishes to speak in debate, or deliver any matter to the
Board, he /she shall rise and address himself/herself to the Chair .... "; and
WHEREAS, for years standing has not been done; and
WHEREAS, standing is unnecessary and the requirement for it is discriminatory.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
Board of Supervisors Rules and Bylaws Article V, Section C. 1. be amended to read:
When any supervisor wishes to speak in debate, or deliver any matter to the Board, he /she
shall address himself /herself to the Chair ... .
