WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to adopt
Resolution No. 21(2006) approl is & a collective bargaining agreement between the County and
the Highway Union at its April 18 meeting (copy attached); and
WHEREAS, it was discovered after the Board meeting that the last paragraph of
Resolution No. 21(2006) inadvertently named the "General Government Support Services
Union" agreement instead of the "Highway Union" agreement; and
THEREFORE, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors amends Resolution 21(2006)
by inserting "Highway Union" in place of "General Government Support Services Union" in the
"THEREFORE" provision.

RESOLUTION APPROVING COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE COUNTY AND HIGHWAY UNION (AFSCME)

St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, St. Croix County and the Highway Union (AFSCME) were unable to
negotiate all terms of a collective bargaining agreement for 2006 -2007; and
WHEREAS, the State of Wisconsin utilizes mediation services to resolve all collective
bargaining impasses between county and county employees; and
WHEREAS, Mediator Bauman mediated terms of a collective bargaining agreement
between the two parties; and
WHEREAS, Wisconsin Statutes require that all collective bargaining agreements with
county employees be approved by the county board of supervisors in open session.
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
collective bargaining agreement between St. Croix County and the General Government Support
Services Union (AFSCME), including all tentative agreements, for the period of January 1, 2006
until December 31, 2007 is hereby approved.
