St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, a planning grant in the amount of $42,798.76 has been approved through the
Hazard Mitigation Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will provide 75% of
the funds and St. Croix County shall provide 25% of the funds ($10,700.00) as the required local
match; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the grant is to develop a pre- disaster mitigation plan, which
will allow St. Croix County and it's municipalities to qualify for additional funding in the event
of a disaster.
THEREFORE be it resolved that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors authorizes
the Emergency Management Director to proceed with the development of a disaster mitigation
plan through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, with the County match of $10,700.00 to be
primarily derived from in -kind services as allowable under the grant program.
