RESOLUTION AMENDING BOARD OF SUPERVISORS RULES AND
BYLAWS REGARDING PER DIEMS AND
DEPARTMENT HEAD VACANCIES
RESOLUTION NO.
St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 40(2004) added to the Board of Supervisors Rules and
Bylaws Article VI, Section E, which reads:
When a department head vacancy occurs, the potential for improving County
government by modifying the position description and/or the organization of the
department shall be considered by the contact committee.
and
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee recommends that UW- Extension agents be
added to that section by inserting after the word "head" "or UW- Extension Agent "; and
WHEREAS, Rules and Bylaws Article VI, Section C provides for supervisor per diems;
and
WHEREAS, the Administration Committee recommends Section C.l.a. -d. be replaced
with the following language:
1. For any and all meeting(s) in a day (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) - $60
2. For any and all meeting(s) starting after 6 p.m. - $60
3. However, for any additional meetings on the same date starting, following
or continuing after 6 p.m. - $30 ($90 daily total).

THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the
Board of Supervisors Rules and Bylaws be amended as set forth above.

This Resolution was adopted by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors on
