Kjersti expressed that the COA recommended ADRC Governance Board. Expanding the model recommended by the Planning Group, the Ad Hoc discussed combining the functions of the Council on Aging, ADRC Board, and Long -Term Support Committee. Ad Hoc will work at drafting application over the next couple of weeks. Kjersti distributed copies of Richland County MOUs/Policies/Procedures /etc.; an ADRC Implementation Timeline; Required ADRC Plan, Policy, and Procedure Documents list; and DHFS letters to Eau Claire and Dunn counties regarding their ADRC applications. Discussion occurred regarding potential locations for ADRC. Space is limited at the Health Center and the Government Center; staff time will need to be divided between these locations. A potential third location was discussed. The Ad Hoc committee reviewed demographic maps from DHFS. The maps did not easily communicate where the older adult and persons with disabilities population are concentrated. Kjersti will contact Cindy Ofstead, DHFS, who prepared the maps, for further clarification. Concentration and socio- economics should be considered for potential locations. 2. Possible Agenda Items for next meetings Discuss common message and communication to stakeholders, IT capabilities between different locations, job descriptions /functions, MOUs, policies.
