NOTICE OF MEETING

Gethsemane Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall, 1350 Florence Street, Baldwin, WI 54002
Members of the ADRC Ad Hoc Committee will be attending and facilitating a presentation on
ADRC Development in St. Croix County. An invitation to this forum has also been extended to
members of the Council on Aging, Long -Term Support Board, and Health and Human Services
Board. This is not a regular committee meeting. Committee members will be in attendance to
obtain information from potential ADRC consumers that may be used in making future
recommendations or decisions.

CALL TO ORDER — The meeting was called to order at 2:30pm
ROLL CALL — Present: Peg Gagnon, Kjersti L.O. Duncan, Norma Vrieze;
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING — Motion to approved by Peg;
seconded by Norma
ADOPTION OF AGENDA
DATE OF NEXT MEETING — Thursday, September 20, 2007
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS
1. Discuss ADRC governing board and organizational framework: Not discussed at this
meeting.
2. Proiect timeline for planning activities in anticipation of October 2007 application
submission: CHP has been approved by the state for contract; the LaCrosse consortium has not
been approved by the state for St. Croix County at this time. Discussion occurred regarding
whether the county will wait to pursue redesign with only one choice of MCO. Questions raised: 1)
Will the state fund an ADRC in 2008 if county doesn't pursue redesign? 2) Would the county fund
ADRC if state does not fund? 3) How will the needs of older adults and younger persons with
disabilities be met if an ADRC is not funded in St. Croix County in 2008?
3. Possible Agenda Items for next meetings: An invitation will be extended to Fred Johnson,
HHS Director; committee members will make sure appropriate staff/decision makers are invited to
the ADRC presentation by Janet Zander, September 26, 2007.
