Temporary placement and occupancy of a travel trailer or manufactured home may be granted if the owner has secured a sanitary and building permit for the construction of a permitted principle structure pursuant to Chapter 15.390.B.2.b of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances. The request has been conditionally approved based on the application submission and the following findings: • The property owner owns both lots 1 and 2 of certified survey map Volume 31, Page 7045, Town of Cady. The certified survey map is filed as document number 1141781 with the St. Croix County Register of Deeds. This temporary occupancy permit is for lot 2. • The applicant has secured a State Sanitary Permit from St. Croix County to install a code compliant Private Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (POWTS). The sanitary permit was issued on October 29, 2021 as State Sanitary Permit #633994. • The applicant secured a building permit from REM Inspecting on March 16, 2022, for construction of a single-family dwelling (Principal Structure). Based on these findings, approval of the Land Use Permit is subject to the following conditions: 1. The travel trailer shall be connected to a legal sanitary system during temporary occupancy pursuant to Chapter 15.309.B.2.b.1. 2. This approval is for temporary occupancy for one travel trailer. Additional travel trailers or structures used for temporary occupancy are not approved as a part of this permit and would violate permit conditions. 3. Temporary occupancy shall not exceed one year, unless an extension is granted by the St. Croix County Zoning Administrator pursuant to Ch.15.390.2.b.2.d. This Temporary Occupancy permit is only valid for lot 2 of certified survey map document number 1141781. 6. It is the applicant's responsibility to secure any other required local, state or federal permit(s) and approval(s). 7. Failure to comply with the terms or conditions above may result in the revocation of this permit by the Zoning Administrator pursuant to Ch.15.770. This approval is subject to the conditions listed above; it does not allow for any additional construction, structures, or buildings beyond the limits of this request. Your information will remain on file at the St. Croix County Community Development Department suite. It is your responsibility to ensure compliance with any other local, state, or federal permitting or regulations, including contacting the Town of Cady to inquire if additional approvals are required.
