St. Croix County, Wisconsin
WHEREAS, the County would like to prepay the State Trust Fund Loans with the State
of Wisconsin which total $238,244.77; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes sec. 65.90(5), a budget amendment by the
County Board is necessary to authorize the additional expenditure for debt service; and
WHEREAS, the County has received sales tax revenue in excess of budgeted revenues by
an amount sufficient to cover the $238,244.77 balance on the State Trust Fund Loans; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is recommending that the Sales Tax Fund be
authorized to cover the prepayment of the State Trust Fund Loans.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
that the 2005 budget be amended by adding $238,244.77 to the amount budgeted for debt service
to prepay the State Trust Fund Loan and approves the use of the sales tax fund laaaee to cover
this amount.
