CROIX COUNTY, WISCONSIN WHEREAS, there is interest in obtaining fill material from the County farm property in New Richmond for construction of new State Trunk Highway 64; and THEREFORE, be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors that the Finance Committee is authorized to obtain an engineering study on the County's New Richmond property that includes: 1. The location and amount of any deposit suitable for use in the construction of State Trunk Highway 64. 2. A per- cubic -yard sale price. 3. Route of truck traffic and other conditions for excavating and hauling materials. 4. Restoration standards for excavated area(s). Offered by the Finance Committee. Box 16 Princeton Wi. 54968 Re: STH 64 New Richmond Bypass Project # 1559 -08 -80,82 June 7, 2005 St. Croix County Mashuda Contractors, Inc. will be bidding on the bypass project. We need appox. 180,000 cy of fill material. We would like to test the soils on the county Land between CTH K and CTH CC to see if the material is suitable for the project. We would either drill or dig with a backhoe. If the material is suitable for the project we would like to enter into a agreement with The county to purchase material for the project. All test sites will be cleaned up when we are done. Depending on what we find we will probably drill or dig 6 t0 10 spots. If crops are on these areas we will take all measures to disturb the minimum area. If we enter into a agreement we will pay the county a per cubic yard royalty plus a per acre crop loss. When we are done with the project the land will be returned to farmable land and will be seeded down at no cost to the County.
