MINUTES Motion A motion was introduced by , seconded by , and
unanimously adopted: That the minutes of the St. Croix County Coordinated
Family Services Coordinating Committee meeting be approved as circulated.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Bylaws- No other additions presently - will need to be
signed.
The press release was viewed, some minor changes were made. This will be sent with
the minutes as an attachment.
Parent advocate- Deb is on several teams and has participated on several screens for
teams. Deb is also working on a news letter which will be coming out shortly
The news letter will have several different sections (include here) A distribution list will
be developed as to where the newsletter will be sent.
Review of data pertaining to quality assurance surveys and feedback from school
districts.
Dawn made a handout of responses from individual school districts. With some of the
least like comments - changes have already been made to deal with most of those
comments.
There were not a whole lot of comments for improvements. The one's that were there are
certainly fixable.
There will be several attachments from the feedback from reviews and closing surveys.
The data was mostly positive that have come out from the surveys. There were no
glaring issues that the committee suggested to change that has not already changed.
CCS update comprehensive community services. can serve both children and adults.
can admit most people with diagnosis from the DSM. This is awraparound model being
client focused system instead of professional focused. The team sits with the client to
develop a plan of service. There are many parrallels between CFS and CCS. CCS would
allow a greater option for billing for different services that would not be covered by other
means. An adult CST process will be looked at in the near future. Transition would
become much easier for the clients. How's it connected with this committee. CCS would
also need an advisory committee. Many counties use the same committees to serve both
purposes.
