Chairman Raymond called the meeting to order.
Date of next meeting was set for September 5, 2oo6.
Norton- Bauman moved that the agenda be adopted as presented. Peavey seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Motion by Peavey, seconded by Burri, to approve the proposed 2007 budget for UW-
Extension. Motion passed.

Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Bob Heise - Director
Adoption of Agenda:
Motion by Peavey, seconded by Burri, to approve the agenda as submitted. Carried.
Action on Previous Meetings:
Motion by Norton- Bauman, seconded by Burri, to approve the August 1, 2oo6 meeting
minutes with the amendment that Ruetz be added to the Members Present on the Land
& Water Conservation portion of the minutes. Carried.

PARKS DEPARTMENT
Review of 2007 budget -
Heise handed out a folder to all committee members containing the 2007 — Parks
budget and other supporting spreadsheets. Heise presented
budget figures. Operational costs met the zero based budget
requirement. Discussed Capital Outlay plan. Discussion by
committee. Motion by Peavey, seconded by Ruetz, to approve
the 2007 — Parks budget as presented and forward the budget
to Finance. Carried.
LAND & WATER CONSERVATION DEPARTMENT
Review of 2007 budget -
Heise handed out a folder to all committee members containing the 2007 — LWCD
budget and other supporting spreadsheets. Heise presented
budget figures. Operational costs met the zero based budget
requirement. LWCD recommended replacing one of the fleet
trucks that is 12 years old and has higher mileage. Discussion.
Motion by Burri, seconded by Ruetz, to approve the 2007 —
LWCD budget as presented and forward the budget to Finance.
Carried.
Raymond made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 11:42 a.m., seconded by Peavey.
Carried.
