Present: Ronald Raymond, Lois Burn, Bill Peavey, Gene Ruetz, Lee Milligan, Jim Janke,
Kimberly Reaman, Mary Lestrud, Ruth Hilfiker, and Mike Perkl, Western
District Director
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ron Raymond.
Date of next meeting was set for March 7, 2006
Ruetz moved that the agenda be adopted as presented. Burn seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Burri moved that the previous meeting's minutes be approved. Peavey seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Peavey moved that the vouchers be approved. Ruetz seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Administrative Report
Federal Budget —no report.
State Budget —no report
County Budget —no report
County Fair — Raymond and Ruetz reported on fundraising efforts, planning of the site and fair
improvements.
WACEC — Mike Perkl, UWEX Western District Director, encouraged Extension Committee
members to attend the District WACEC meeting April 7 in Eau Claire and State WACEC
conference June 25 -27 is Oshkosh.
Personnel:
• Committee discussed the resolution from the Administration committee regarding the
classification of agents as Department Heads.
• Motion by Burri, seconded by Ruetz to approve the revised administrative secretary
position description.
• Motion by Peavey, seconded by Ruetz to move into closed session for the performance
evaluation of Extension Agents. Roll call vote unanimous.
• Motion by Peavey, seconded by Raymond to move out of closed session. Roll call vot
unanimous.
Bum moved to adjourn. Peavey seconded the motion. Motion carried.
