The state continues to address long term care reform. St. Croix County is a part of a nine county consortium which, along with Community Health Partnership and other entities, is looking at opportunities for long term reform in this area. Dianne believes counties needs to look to their offices on aging which efficiently serve older adults and their families under the Older Americans Act. There is concern that the state may move funding to regional resource centers versus maintaining the local offices on aging which currently serve as the focal point of information and assistance for older adults and their families.
