Emergency Communications; Craig Nelson - EMS Rep.; Jim Vanderwyst — New Richmond Fire.
Arrive at 12:45 p.m.: Doug Briggs — Somerset Police Chief; Gary Arnevik — Phillips Plastics.
Chairman Mehls called the meeting to order at 12:36 p.m.

REVIEW OF 2007 PLAN OF WORK EMPG GRANT AND SARA GRANT REQUIREMENTS
Colvard explained, along with several handouts, the 2007 Plan of Work with the state for the Emergency
Management Planning Grant and the SARA Grant requirements and funding. The plan of work activities
that he reviewed are tied directly to the two grants. This application needs to be submitted by December
15, 2006. One change that the state has now required in the plan of work is the requirement for a copy of
the Independent Contractor's contract with percentages of time being devoted to various categories being
identified. Colvard and Whiting will discuss and rewrite the Emergency Management Director's contract
to meet the state's requirements.
