strategy.

PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING

The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 9:05 a.m. by Chairman Daryl
Standafer. Members present: Standafer, Esther Wentz, Dick King, Cindy Leonard, and Lori
Bernard. Also present: Steve Weld arrived at 9:15 a.m.
Moved (Wentz, Bernard) and approved to adopt the agenda as presented. Action on minutes of
January 6, 2006 delayed until the February 3, 2006 meeting.
The next regularly scheduled meeting of the Personnel Committee will be at 8:30 a.m. on
February 3, 2006.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS
Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85(1)(c) for consideration of employment, promotion,
compensation or performance evaluation data of a public employee. Motion by King, 2" d by
Bernard to go into closed session per Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) for consideration of
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of a public employee.
Roll call vote: all aye; moved into closed session at 9:07 a.m.
Reconvene into open session to complete agenda items. Motion by Bernard, 2nd by Leonard to
reconvene into open session at 9:18 a.m. Carried unanimously.
Closed session per WI Stat. 19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of reviewing labor negotiations
issues. Motion by Wentz, 2nd by Leonard to go into closed session per Wisconsin Statute
19.85(1)(e) for the purpose of reviewing labor negotiations issues. Roll call vote: all aye;
moved into closed session at 9:19 a.m.
Reconvene into open session to complete agenda items. Motion by Bernard, 2 by Leonard to
reconvene into open session at 9:41 a.m. Carried unanimously
Standafer declared the meeting adjourned at 9:42 a.m., after which the committee proceeded with
mediation discussions concerning the four AFSCME unions
