AGRICULTURE & EXTENSION COMMITTEE
Tuesday, March 1, 2005

Convened: 9:05 a.m.
Adjourned: 10:50 a.m.
Present: Ronald Raymond, Jan Zoerb, Lois Burri, Gene Ruetz, Kimberly Reaman, and Mary
Lestrud.
Absent: Bill Peavey, Lee Milligan, James Janke, and Jon Behling.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Ronald Raymond at 9:05 a.m.
Date of next meeting was set for Friday, March 4 at 9:00 a.m.
Gene Ruetz moved that the agenda be adopted as presented. Jan Zoerb seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Lois Burri moved that the previous meeting's minutes be approved. Jan seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Jan moved that the vouchers be approved. Lois seconded the motion. Motion carried.
ADMINISTRATIVE REPORT
Federal Budget Update —No report.
State Budget Update —No report.
County Budget —No report.
WACEC Update —The district WACEC meeting will be held in Chippewa Falls on Friday,
April 8 Lois Burri, and Gene Reutz (tentative) will be in attendance. Bill Peavey will be
contacted regarding his wishes.
Personnel - The Extension Committee discussed staffing plan issues in light of future
retirements.
4 -H Youth Development Report
Interviews for the 4 -H Summer Assistant position have been scheduled for March 18, 1:30 to
3:30 pm. Lois Burri will participate in the interviews.
New Business:
Closed session being tabled until the next meeting on March 4.
