Resolution urging the PSC to Fully Fund the Cellular E911 Program
Kollman advised that the PSC guidelines for the cellular grant indicated that hardware /software which
served both hard line and cellular 911 would be funded at 50% and that hardware /software which served
only Cellular E911 would be funded at 100 %. Its final ruling funded the map on which the location of a
cellular 911 call would be displayed at 100% but that the hardware /software on which the map resides is
funded only at 50 %. Kollman reported that this could be appealed and asked the Committee to approve a
resolution asking the PSC to fully fund the effort. The motion passed unanimously on a Malick/Jacobson
MOTION.
Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 8:40 a.m.
Respectfully submitted,
Gary Kollman
Director, St. Croix County Emergency Communications
