notice of a meeting of the County Board for the purpose of obtaining information relating to subjects listed above for use at future County Board

MINUTES OF COMMITTEE MEETING
ST. CROIX COUNTY ADMINISTRATION COMMITTEE
April 5,2011— 8:30 A.M.
St. Croix County Government Center, 1101 Carmichael Road Hudson, Wisconsin
CALL TO ORDER — The meeting was called to order by Chair Norton - Bauman at 8:30 a.m.
ROLL CALL — Present: Daryl Standafer, Ryan Sicard, Lorin Sather, Sharon Norton - Bauman, Roger
Rebholz, Esther Wentz and Buck Malick
Others Present: Tammy Funk, Katie Thurmes
ADOPTION OF AGENDA — Motion by Standafer, 2nd by Wentz to approve the agenda as presented.
Carried unanimously.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING: April 18, 2011
APPROVAL OF MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETINGS: No action.
OLD AND NEW BUSINESS:
1. Review and Act on Labor Agreement Between St. Croix County and the Wisconsin Professional
Police Association/Law Enforcement Employee Relations (WPPA) Union for 2011 -2012 - Funk
distributed a further revised summary of tentative settlement. Funk stated there is confusion concerning
item 9, Article 14 — Retirement. Clarification regarding the retirement contribution is necessary. Funk
stated she is waiting for clarification from Weld. Standafer, on behalf of the Bargaining Committee,
recommends the Administration Committee recommend approval of the contract but we need clarification
from WPPA that they are now in full understanding of this language. Motion by Malick, 2nd by Sather to
table this matter until the next Administration Committee meeting. Malick felt this be resolved before the
County Board meeting. Standafer stated if resolved this morning, it could be approved by the County
Board today. Sather suggested the Administration Committee recess this meeting and reconvene during
County Board meeting when clarification is received. Motion by Sather, 2nd by Standafer to recess and
reconvene at call of the Chair based on the progress and clarification. Malick and Sather withdrew their
motion to table. There were no objections by the committee members. Carried unanimously.
Norton - Bauman stated the meeting is in recess and will convene later if necessary. Recessed at 8:39 a.m.
Norton - Bauman confirmed during the County Board meeting clarification on the retirement issue had not
been resolved and adjourned the Administration Committee meeting at 12:06 p.m.
