January 23, 1986
Meeting called to order by Chairman Stephens at 9:00 A.M. in the County Board
Room, Courthouse, Hudson. All members present. Minutes of the November meeting
and hearings approved as mailed.
Hearing called to order by Chairman Stephens at 9:30 A.M.- Chairman Stephens
set the guidelines for the hearing. Zoning Administrator read notice of the
hearing as published in the local newspaper:
ARTICLE: 2.6 F(13), Private Airstrip
APPELLANT: Russell Strate
LOCATION: Part of the NEB of the SW% and
part of the SE14 of the SW!4 of Section 10,
T29N-R18W, Town of Warren.
Mr. Joel Strate presented his request, explaining the reasons for the airstrip.
Zoning Administrator read correspondence from Le Hart Friederick requesting
removal of trees and brush on the property line.
After inspection of the Strate property, the following decision was rendered:
Motion by Supervisor Kelly to approve the request of Mr., Strate to have a
private airstrip on condition that the trees and brush are removed on the
property line of Le Hart Freiderick. Zoning Administrator to be notified
when it is completed for inspection. Seconded by Supervisor Meinke. Motion
carried. Vote to approve with the above conditions: Stephens, yes; Kelly,
yes; Meinke, yes.
Motion by Supervisor Kelly to close the hearing and adjourn. Seconded by
Supervisor Meinke. Motion carried.
The next scheduled hearing is March 25, 1986.
Hearing closed at 11:30 A.M.
This is a half day meeting.
