An 8" x 12" x 24" stone laying flatwise +/- 3' west of the north/south centerline of the gravel road. The top of the stone is even with the organic clay top soil and +/- 4' south of the brush line to the west. After measuring the north and south 112 mile, it was found that this position fit well with government distances, taking into consideration there was most likely a 33' bust in the measurement to the north by the original surveyors. Believing this to be the best possible location, a 2" x 12" iron pipe with a Berntsen aluminum cap set in concrete over the found stone. f.
