Government notes from the 1847 survey of the Third Parallel by Henry Wiltse returned 40 chain distances through Sections 33 and 34. Notes from the 1853 subdivision of T30N, R16W, by John Ryan, returned falling distances which were used to calculate the following results. The distance east from this corner to the S1/4 Corner of Section 34 is measured between found monuments. We measure about 2164.4'. We also measure about 614.6' east (compared with the Government distance of 628.98') to ❑ found monument for the NE Corner of Section 5, T30N, R16W. The N1 /4 Corner of said Section 5 was not set by Government surveyors, but we measure west about 2034' to a found monument. We also measure the 1 /2 mile to the found monument at the S1 /4 Corner of Section 33 at about 2670.7'. This compares with the calculated distances of 2012.01" and 2640 respectively. There is also a kink of about 10 47" at the found monument for the N1 /4 Corner of said Section 5. (f) Was the corner restored through acceptance of (1) an obliterated evidence location, or, (2) a found perpetuated location? (2) A found perpetuated location.
